Catering
Join our team and play an important part in providing high quality meals for residents who rely on consistent, nutritious food each day. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys cooking with purpose and takes pride in preparing meals that meet a wide range of needs and preferences.
What You Will Do- Plan and prepare varied menus with the Unit Manager
- Cook meals, snacks and home baking using fresh ingredients
- Provide options for individual dietary requirements
- Maintain excellent hygiene standards in all catering areas
- Manage stock levels and follow ordering procedures
- Support seasonal events and celebrations with suitable catering
- Encourage safe involvement of residents in food preparation where appropriate
You have experience working in a catering environment and enjoy producing food to a high standard. You bring good organisation, attention to detail and an understanding of Health and Safety requirements. An Elementary Food Handling Certificate is needed although training can be provided. Basic computer skills and PVG Scheme membership are required.
