Healthcare Administration
This post is to cover maternity leave, with an expected return to work date of January 2026, however we would like a pre and post overlap, but with a view to this hopefully becoming a more permanent position.
The successful candidate should have a background in general administration. They will interact with patients and other Healthcare Professionals both face to face and over the telephone.
Accuracy and attention to detail are critically important. They should also have the ability to multitask and understand process and procedure.

Person Specification Experience- General Administrative background
- Experience of working in Primary Care
- Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and discretion - GDPR
- Calm under pressure
- Well presented with good interpersonal skills
- Proficient in the use of email and internet
- Experience of using Microsoft software applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to prioritise tasks
- Reliability and flexibility
- Stress tolerance
- Welsh oral and written
- Knowledge of EMIS (Optum)
- Knowledge of QAIF and enhanced services
- Minimum of English GCSE/O Level
- Proficient in spelling, punctuation and grammar
- Experience in using GP clinical software
- Knowledge of medical terminology
