Job Responsibilities:

Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and driving continuous improvement. Responding to and resolving breakdowns quickly to minimise downtime. Monitoring equipment to ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and quality standards. Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance across a range of production lines, packaging machinery, and services equipment (including boilers, pasteurisers and processors). Performing machine modifications and plant improvements. Basic plumbing, fabrication, and general engineering repairs.

Recording all activities accurately on CMMS systems. Working independently with minimal supervision, while also supporting the wider engineering team. Required Multi-Skilled Engineer

Qualifications:

18th Edition Electrical (City & Guilds) qualification. Strong mechanical knowledge within an FMCG / manufacturing environment. Proven experience in machine maintenance, fabrication, and fault finding. Ability to read schematics and diagnose electrical / mechanical faults. Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
