  • Respond promptly to out‑of‑control events, conduct initial investigations, and assist in the disposition and resolution of issues to minimise downtime and scrap.
  • Serve as the primary process engineering representative for all processing areas during out‑of‑day shift hours, making critical decisions to maintain production.
  • Conduct on‑shift containment, in‑depth investigation, diagnosis, and resolution of complex process and test issues, escalating to engineers as needed.
  • Provide clear and concise feedback and communication to ensure seamless continuity in addressing issues across all manufacturing shifts.
  • Liaise effectively with shift supervisors and fellow Technicians to ensure production priorities are clearly understood and addressed with appropriate urgency.
  • Accurately monitor the status of production processes, including output, yield, and downtime using the MES, SPC data, and the production dashboard.
  • Actively contribute to the training and mentoring of new Operators and fellow Technicians on manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Champion a positive safety and environmental culture to satisfy ISO 18001 and ISO 140001 requirements.
