Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Compare purchase orders, prices, terms of payment, and other charges.
- Verify invoices and supporting documents to ensure accuracy.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
- Maintain historical records by filing documents.
- Prepare reports on accounts payable and expenditures.
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
- Produce monthly reports and assist in month-end closing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience within the real estate or similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
