We are recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our exceptional Projects Teams. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for someone with supervisory experience in projects who is personable and capable of quickly establishing credibility.

Key

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Knowledge of pre and post contract administration for different contract types (re-measure and lump sum) essential, FIDIC.
  • Preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities and maintaining budgets, estimates, cash flow forecasts, cost reports.
  • Prepare Letter of award, contracts for new projects in coordination with the project team, consultant and contractor.
  • Prepare variation orders in coordination with project team, consultant and contractor.
  • Verify and certify consultants’ and contractors’ interim payment applications, issue payment certificates.
  • Ensure project deliverables and close‑out documents are received during project completion.
  • Prepare the project take‑over certificate, release of retention and documents during DLC.
  • Ensure deliverables are received prior to certifying the consultant payment certificate.
  • Assist in the close‑out procedure and prepare consultants’ and contractor’s final account.
  • Ensure completeness and validity of contractual requirements.
  • Review, negotiate and prepare claim settlements.
  • Perform other duties associated with this position as may be appropriate.
  • Participate in site visits & prepare reports as directed by the project manager.
  • Knowledge of PS and PC items review and finalisation.
  • Study tender analysis reports (technical & commercial) and recommend the most suitable contractor.
  • Team‑player, coordinate with consultant and contractors.
  • Review and approve/disapprove interim payments, variations, EOTs & claims after detailed study.
  • Review and approve stage‑wise interim payments for design stages upon receipt of deliverables.
  • Support contract execution, record commencement dates, TOC and contract administration.
  • Review contractual claims, verify validity and prepare responses.
  • Draft and prepare contractual letters to contractors, PMC, and other parties.
  • Estimate costs for new‑built, fit‑out work, renovation, and refurbishment projects.
  • Understand contractual terms & conditions, process, scope of work, compensation schedule, and contract administration requirements.
  • Possess general management skills such as integrity, sound judgement, drive for results, and focus.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or civil engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in construction, villas, buildings.
  • MRICS is an advantage.
  • Experience in cost management, contract administration, and tendering, particularly in consultant, construction, or real estate.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, negotiation skills, and proficiency in cost‑estimating software and tools.
