Superintendent, Civil / Construction – STRABAG

We are looking for an experienced Superintendent Civil / Construction for the expansion of an indoor Theme Park facility in Abu Dhabi.

• Site supervision:
  Oversee all daily on‑site activities, ensuring work progresses according to plans and deadlines.
• Personnel and subcontractor management:
  Supervise construction crews, coordinate with subcontractors, manage schedules, and ensure timely material and equipment delivery.
• Safety and compliance:
  Enforce safety regulations, conduct safety meetings, identify and address hazards, and ensure the project meets building codes and specifications.
• Quality control:
  Review blueprints and project documents to ensure construction aligns with design requirements and verify the quality of work.
• Problem‑solving:
  Identify and resolve on‑site issues, conflicts, and delays to keep the project on track.
• Documentation and reporting:
  Maintain daily logs, track progress, and prepare reports for project managers and other stakeholders.
• Communication:
  Serve as the main point of contact between the site team, subcontractors, clients, and project managers, providing updates and addressing concerns.
• Budget and resource management:
  Assist in managing the project budget by tracking costs and ensuring efficient allocation of resources, equipment, and personnel.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) or Diploma in Civil/Construction.
• Minimum 10 years experience in site supervision for civil construction (commercial, industrial, infrastructure, high‑rise, or mixed‑use projects).
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, structural works, and finishing.
• Ability to read and interpret civil/structural drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Knowledge of local regulations, safety procedures, and quality compliance.
• Proficient in planning, productivity optimization, and resource management.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to solve site challenges quickly and efficiently.
