Job Description
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Civil Inspector (Roads & Utilities) to join our team! In this role, you will get to ensure the successful execution and quality of road and utility infrastructure projects by conducting thorough inspections and implementing company standards.
What You'll Be Doing- Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, standards, and specifications.
- Maintain detailed records by documenting inspection results and preparing comprehensive reports.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to address and resolve issues or discrepancies.
- Enforce adherence to safety regulations and quality control standards on site.
- Perform regular site visits and inspections to track construction progress and ensure workmanship quality.
- Support the development and implementation of standardized inspection procedures and protocols.
- Organize and manage inspection records, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and current.
- Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction supervision of Roads on structural slab and soil subgrade & Utilities (wet and dry), Traffic Management, infrastructure projects.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications and be thoroughly familiar with construction related processes related to area of assignment.
- Preferably with related work experience in Abu Dubai, UAE, or GCC in an engineering consulting firm.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate logically and clearly with management and staff.
- Construction supervision & Handing over of Wet Utilities Storm Water, Sewerage network, Potable Water, Irrigation with through Knowledge of Abu Dhabi Authority requirements and handing over procedures
- Snagging & Desnagging
- Quick fit to already running project and cope up with up to date information
- Managing works alone with minimum support
- Review As-Built conditions and confirm As-built drawings.
