Planning Engineer

• You are responsible for defining the appropriate techniques and the sequence of the construction program for one or more of our construction projects.
• You assess the viability and possibility of different construction methods to decide which one is the best in terms of budget, logistics, and timing.
• Your planning will be used to specify and determine the timing of the project.
• You monitor the progress of the construction site and take action to smooth or correct the construction process.
• You document all your planning clearly, making them easily accessible and usable by the site engineers.

Skills and Competencies :

• You are an experienced construction specialist with expertise in various domains (building, civil works, marine works) and aspects (design, tender, site office) of construction.
• You possess a flexible personality, critically evaluating your own work area and consistently seeking ways to enhance performance.
• You challenge prevailing assumptions within your working area and propose effective ideas for improving existing processes within the company.
• As an excellent communicator, you can articulate and report clearly to project and operational management as well as to the client.
• You have the ability to work efficiently and autonomously on larger projects where your expertise is required, ensuring a high return on investment and providing value-added service.
• You demonstrate willingness and ability to learn quickly and to work independently in a stressful work environment.
• You have a good experience with specialized construction planning software (Primavera P6, MSP, TILOS).
• You have a very good knowledge with Ms Office package.
• You are fluent in English.
• You are ready to travel on different sites located within GCC Countries.

Qualifications

• You have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Civil / Construction.
• You have minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in different aspects of construction.
• Middle East experience is highly preferred.
