Position:
Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Senior QS, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the quantity surveying process, from initial estimates to final accounts. You will work closely with our project management team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects, taking into consideration all relevant factors such as materials, labor, and equipment costs
• Review and analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential cost‑saving opportunities
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with contract specifications
• Prepare and submit progress payment applications and variations to clients
• Manage and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
• Provide regular cost reports and forecasts to project management team
• Review and approve subcontractor and supplier invoices
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to project costs
• Mentor and train junior quantity surveyors within the team

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in fit‑out joinery or construction industry
• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, methods, and techniques
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Proficient in using quantity surveying software and MS Office
• Membership with a relevant professional body (e.g. RICS, CIOB) is preferred
