BIM Modeler - MEP

Job Description

The BIM Modeler - MEP will be responsible for the creation, development, and maintenance of all BIM files for our unique engineering products. The individual will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of the content we provide to architects and designers, enhancing our ability to meet their specific needs.

• BIM Modeling:
  Create, modify, and manage Revit& Civil3
  
  Dmodels for MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing components and infra, ensuring accuracy and compliance with ICON's project standards.
• Coordination:
  Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to integrate MEP systems effectively into the overall project design.
• Clash Detection:
  Utilize Revit, Civil3D and Navisworks to perform clash detection and resolution, addressing conflicts between MEP systems and other building elements.
• Design Support:
  Generate detailed drawings and documentation for MEP systems, supporting the design process with accurate and comprehensive information.
• Standards Compliance:
  Adhere to ICON’s modelling standards and best practices, ensuring all deliverables meet client requirements and industry regulations.
• Quality Control:
  Conduct regular quality checks and model reviews to maintain high standards of accuracy and completeness.
• Collaboration:
  
  Participate in design reviews and coordination meetings, providing insights and solutions for MEP-related issues.
• Model Updates:
  Update Revit models based on design changes, feedback, and project requirements, ensuring timely and accurate revisions.

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent to relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in BIM Modelling( Revit, Civil3D, Navisworks .etc.)
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil3D modeling software.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
