Key Responsibilities
- Review approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications before starting any civil activity.
- Prepare and coordinate Permit to Work (PTW) applications in compliance with ADNOC requirements.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure readiness of work areas as per HSE standards.
- Supervise and execute civil works such as excavation, back filling, concreting, formwork, rebar installation, foundations, trenching, and structural works.
- Ensure all required tools, equipment, and manpower are available and fit for use.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, HSE Officers, and other disciplines to ensure safe execution of tasks.
- Monitor site progress and report daily activities to concerned supervisors.
- Identify and mitigate job hazards through proper risk assessment and toolbox talks.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC safety rules, project procedures, and quality control standards.
- Maintain documentation for daily permits, work execution records, and inspections.
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors and site teams to achieve project targets.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- ADNOC Job Performer certification (Civil) preferred or must be able to obtain.
- Valid UAE PTW training/certifications (if previously worked on ADNOC sites).
- 2–10 years of experience in civil construction works within Oil & Gas projects.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Job Performer on ADNOC Onshore/Offshore projects is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of ADNOC PTW system, HSE requirements, and civil work procedures.
- Hands‑on experience in structural concrete works, underground utilities, foundations, and heavy civil activities.
- Experience in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and handling high-risk activities.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction standards and safe work practices.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong leadership and supervision capabilities.
- Familiarity with risk assessment and job hazard analysis.
