Key Accountabilities
Identify and define test standards for systems compliance, for example:- EMC/EMI MIL standards and testing
- CE/FCC compliance standards and testing
Define test procedures and plans for lab and field testing of:- wireless communication systems
- small radar systems
- antenna systems
Define, develop and build automated test measurement systems.Define, develop and build equipment for lab and field testing, for example:- anechoic chamber setups
- Radar Cross Section measurement setups
- conducted/radiated EMI setups
Execute field and lab tests of internally and externally designed hardware.Support with test and field setups for other departments.Support in definition planning and procedures for platform/product systems integration.Assist other departments in platform/product systems integration.Manage the lab equipment and lab consumables for the department.Write technical reports and keep up to date with developments in relevant technology.Investigate and conduct root cause analysis to identify defects and system problems, and propose viable solutions.Recommend design modifications and equipment updates.Support with prototypes assembly and manufacturing.Support in design of mechanics/structures for testing of systems.Support, lead and mentor junior engineers and share knowledge.Knowledge/Qualification & Experience
Bachelor’s or master's degree in computer science, communication, electronic, or software engineering.Minimum 10 years in wireless communication systems testing and integration.Experience in testing and verification of UAV/UGV/USV navigation and datalinks.Experience in testing of anti-jamming performance of navigation and datalinks.Experience with high-frequency instruments.Experience with analog, digital, and power hardware measurements.Experience with field tests of communication equipment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
