Senior Engineer, Electrical Maintenance; Elect Maint Sn - Ruways

Key Challenges

To maintain various electrical assets such as High voltage switch gear, transformers, Large synchronous machines, HV motor, Protection system, UPS system and variable speed systems including preventive and breakdown maintenance. Ensure reliability of these assets by carrying out life assessment tests, obsolescence studies and upgrade. Ensure smooth integration of new facilities such as modification/up gradation of existing facilities.

Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering and maintenance of Electrical equipment within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry as Senior engineer or higher position in all of the following domains

• Good knowledge about monitoring and predictive maintenance programs associated with electrical systems
• Good Knowledge on Electrical system studies – Short-circuit study, Load flow study, Protection co-ordination study and sizing calculations
• Knowledge about specification of switchgears, Transformers, variable frequency drives, Ex-equipment’s, UPS and Electrical control systems.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards applicable to the oil & gas industries (API, ANSI, NEMA, NFPA, NEC/IEC, etc.) required
• Expertise in resolving complex Engineering and maintenance issues such as HV installations and Protection, Electrical automation and power control systems, electrical variable speed drives, UPS etc.
• Good knowledge about electrical safety requirements and HSE procedures & practices
