Rc Draftsman; Reinforced Concrete

About the job RC DRAFTSMAN (REINFORCED CONCRETE)

• Prepare detailed reinforced concrete shop and construction drawings: beams, columns, slabs, footings, shear walls, staircases, and foundations.
• Produce accurate reinforcement layouts, bar bending schedules (BBS), rebar schedules and cutting lists.
• Interpret structural calculations, architectural drawings, and mark‑ups from engineers and convert them into fabrication and erection drawings.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, MEP teams and site engineers to resolve clashes and ensure constructability.
• Revise and update drawings based on engineer/client comments and site instructions.
• Ensure drawings comply with UAE/GCC codes, client standards, and project specifications.
• Assist in preparing as‑built drawings and record revisions during construction progress.
• Maintain drawing version control, file organization, and deliverables per project QA/QC procedures.
• Support quantity take‑offs and material estimations when required and attend coordination and progress meetings as needed.

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Drafting, or a related discipline (or equivalent technical qualification).
• Minimum 5 years relevant drafting experience on UAE or GCC projects (large‑scale building projects strongly preferred).
• Must be currently located in the UAE and available to join immediately.
• Expert proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & practical 3D drafting workflows) mandatory.
• Experience producing Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and reinforcement detailing.
• Familiarity with structural design drawings and ability to read structural calculations.
• Knowledge of UAE/GCC structural codes and standards (e.g., BS, ACI, or local client standards).
• Comfortable with PDF mark‑ups, DWG management and common office software (MS Excel, Word).
• Experience with Revit/Advance Steel is an advantage but not mandatory.
