Archibat HR Asia is currently seeking a Senior Architect (DMT Licensed) for a award winning architecture design firm based in Abu Dhabi.

You will be operating at a lead level and have a proven track record of project delivery from concept to completion, with a working knowledge of International Building codes, guidelines, specifications, and best practices pertaining to project design and delivery.

• Interface confidently with clients and major stakeholders.
• Ensuring that all aspects of the design are managed and coordinated
• Overseeing the design process using technical expertise, and management skills
• Responsible for managing and directing the multi-disciplinary design teams
• Driving excellence in health and safety, ensuring that risks are minimized in the design process
• Ensure required quality checking / approval procedures are carried out
• Rigorously challenge the teams to drive efficiency and standards in design
• Report to Company Directors on a regular basis regarding progress, design, quality, resources, changes, site issues, planning issues etc.
• Responsible for the correctness and accuracy of their own work and the work of their team.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with all local and international standards
• Responsible for the design quality, project planning and programming of deliverables, coordination and checking of all designs, drawings and documents released, and oversee production of construction documentation and contract administration.

• At least 7yrs Abu Dhabi DMT Practicing Engineer License
• Engineering Speciality – Architect Engineer
• Solid exp in leading the delivery of complex critical infrastructure and higher risk buildings
• RIBA / AIA candidates preferred.

Position is to be based in Abu Dhabi.
