A Snapshot of Your DayAs a Mechanical Engineer at Siemens Energy, your day will be centered around the design, analysis, and manufacturing support for turbo machinery components in the Oil and Gas industry. You will collaborate with various departments on co-creation projects, ensuring that your contributions help develop a competitive portfolio while advancing the energy transition. Your role will involve evaluating materials, creating CAD models, and fostering a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing within the team.
How You’ll Make an Impact- Evaluate material specifications and industrial standards for turbo machinery components.
- Design and develop components to meet functionality, robustness, and manufacturing requirements.
- Create and review 2D and 3D CAD models using Siemens NX.
- Actively contribute to project teams focused on mechanical design and development.
- Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team and across departments.
- Communicate effectively with various functional groups to ensure project alignment.
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master / Bachelor / Diploma).
- 8+ years of experience in Mechanical Design and Development, with a focus on material selection.
- Expertise in designing and modeling with Siemens NX.
- Proficiency in specifying materials based on application requirements.
- Proven track record of collaborative projects and a strong focus on achieving results.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and fluency in English for effective communication.
