MEP Coordinator

The MEP Coordinator ensures proper planning, coordination, and execution of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works in line with UAE construction standards, project specifications, and local authority regulations.

• Coordinate all MEP works (HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Electrical, ELV, Firefighting) across the project site.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and IFC documents; report discrepancies to the Project Manager.
• Prepare coordination drawings and ensure no clashes between MEP services and civil/structural works.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure installation quality and compliance with approved drawings.
• Follow up with consultants for approvals of shop drawings, material submittals, and site inspections.
• Coordinate with civil, architectural, and structural teams to avoid site conflicts and reworks.

  EP works comply with UAE authority requirements (DEWA, ADDC, FEWA, Civil Defense, DM, DCD, etc.).
• Monitor material procurement schedules and ensure timely delivery of approved materials.
• Attend weekly technical and coordination meetings with the main contractor, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Prepare and update weekly progress reports for MEP activities.
• Assist in testing & commissioning of MEP systems, final inspections, and handover documentation.
• Identify site issues, propose solutions, and escalation critical matters to management.
• Ensure MEP subcontractors follow safety standards and comply with HSE requirements.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of MEP coordination experience in UAE construction projects
  .
• Strong background in building construction (residential, commercial, towers, villas, fit-out, etc.).
• Strong understanding of UAE authority approval procedures (DEWA, Civil Defense, Municipality, etc.).
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM is a plus.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver within project timelines.
