Specialist Engineer - Material & Corrosion (Offshore PMC Project)
Location:
Abu Dhabi, UAE
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Lead material selection and corrosion control strategies for offshore platforms, subsea systems, and wellhead towers.
- Develop and review specifications for piping, coatings, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring systems.
- Conduct corrosion risk assessments and failure analysis to support asset integrity.
- Interface with engineering, procurement, and construction teams during FEED and EPC phases.
- Ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., NACE, ISO, API, ASTM) and client requirements.
- Support audits, inspections, and technical reviews throughout the project lifecycle.
- Minimum 15 to 18+ years of experience in oil & gas, with 5+ years in offshore projects.
- Proven track record in brownfield and greenfield offshore developments.
- Experience with Offshore Facilities, subsea cables, and piping systems is highly valued.
- PMC experience preferred.
- Previous experience in ADNOC projects in a similar role would be an added advantage.
