We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transport Planner to join our Abu Dhabi office. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering Traffic Impact Studies (TIS) in compliance with Abu Dhabi Department of Transport (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). This role requires a professional with proven local experience, strong analytical skills, and advanced proficiency in transport planning and traffic engineering software.

• Lead and deliver Traffic Impact Studies (TIS) in line with Abu Dhabi DoT standards and approval processes.
• Apply modelling tools such as CUBE using DoT’s STEAM Model for transport planning and demand forecasting.
• Conduct data collection, calibration, validation, and traffic forecasting exercises to support TIS submissions.
• Use advanced transport and traffic modelling tools including PTV VISUM, VISSIM, VISTRO and traffic analysis software such as SYNCHRO and SIDRA
  .
• Analyse and interpret traffic and transport data, producing high-quality reports and recommendations.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
• Liaise with government authorities, developers, and key stakeholders to ensure timely project approvals.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Transport Planning, or related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 8 years’ professional experience, with strong expertise in Traffic Impact Studies (TIS) in Abu Dhabi.
• Hands-on experience with CUBE and the DoT’s STEAM Model
  .
• Proficiency in transport and traffic engineering software, including:
  • PTV Software Suite
    : VISUM, VISSIM, VISTRO
  • Traffic analysis tools: SYNCHRO, SIDRA
• Strong quantitative and data analysis skills.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills in English.
• Prior consulting experience in transport planning is highly advantageous.
