We are partnering with a technology organization in the UAE seeking a Senior FPGA Engineer to help develop advanced digital solutions for next‑generation communication systems. This role suits someone who enjoys solving complex hardware problems, working with high‑speed interfaces, and building FPGA designs that operate reliably in challenging environments.

• Designing FPGA architectures for high‑performance digital communication and embedded platforms.
• Implementing RTL for complex systems involving memory controllers, high‑speed data paths, and processor‑based SoC devices.
• Integrating FPGA designs with custom hardware, supporting board bring‑up, testing, and optimisation in the lab.
• Developing verification environments, simulations, and test scenarios to ensure functionality and timing accuracy.
• Troubleshooting system‑level issues using FPGA tool chains, on‑chip debugging utilities, and hardware test equipment.
• Collaborating with software, hardware, and systems teams to deliver robust, production‑ready designs.

• 10+ years of hands‑on FPGA development experience in communications, wireless systems, or similar domains.
• Strong proficiency with VHDL/Verilog/System Verilog and solid understanding of digital logic design.
• Experience working with SoC‑based FPGA platforms (e.g., devices combining programmable logic with embedded ARM cores).
• Knowledge of high‑speed interfaces, memory integration, clocking strategies, and performance optimisation.
• Familiarity with simulation, verification, testbench development, and regression testing.
• Experience scripting with Python or MATLAB for automation and analysis.
• Strong debugging skills across FPGA tools, development boards, and lab equipment.

• Ability to work across disciplines and manage complex technical tasks.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and willingness to tackle unfamiliar challenges.
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced environments with evolving priorities.
