As an HSE Engineer, you will oversee ensuring a safe and healthy work environment, create and ensure health and safety policies are being followed, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and authority.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing comprehensive quality health, safety and environmental plans that tailor to specific project needs.
- Establishing clear HSE procedures for all workers, regardless of position, to follow.
- Create and promote a safe working environment by encouraging safe work practices and open communication about safety concerns.
- Conduct safety training for all employees.
- Identify existing or potential safety hazards on the construction site and make a prompt and effective solution for the problem.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to evaluate the likelihood and severity of potential hazards and implement control measures to minimize risks.
- Regularly monitor the effectiveness of control measures and conduct audits to ensure they are being followed and are effective.
- Investigate workplace accidents and incidents to determine the root cause and prevent recurrence.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, including findings, conclusions, and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Implement procedures for proper waste management and pollution control to minimize environmental impact.
- Review and approve contractor safety plans to ensure they meet the project's HSE requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Hasmore than 5 years of experience
- NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent and Engineering bachelor’s degree
- ADNOC approved (Required)
