As part of our Digital Grid – Energy Automation & Protection Division, you will contribute directly to shaping tomorrow’s smarter, more sustainable power networks.

Based in the UAE, you will provide Testing & Commissioning services for Siemens Protection & Automation products and systems—locally and across regional project sites in neighboring countries.

• Perform Testing & Commissioning of Siemens Protection & Automation systems
• Prepare SAT / FAT protocols and commissioning documents
• Conduct PREFAT / FAT for Protection Panels, AVR, LIBBP, HIBBP, TIP, and similar systems
• Develop Method Statements, Work Permits, SAT/FAT protocols, and other utility‑specific procedures
• Provide feedback on product enhancements, issues, and approvals
• Deliver customer presentations, perform fault & root cause analysis
• Coordinate with the local Protection Commissioning team to execute projects efficiently

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics, or E&C Engineering from a reputable institution
• 3–5 years of experience commissioning Protection & Automation systems, ideally in the Middle East or similar environment
• Training or hands‑on experience with Siemens Automation Products is highly beneficial
• Strong knowledge of Siemens protection products: SIP4, SIP5, Reyrolle, Power Quality, etc.
• Expertise in relay communication software, IEC 61850, GOOSE, control logic development, and file creation (scd / icd / cid)
• Excellent command of OMICRON equipment (Test Universe TU4. 20+):
  Distance, Line Differential, Transformer Differential, State Sequencer, Ramping, OCC, Transplay, Annunciator modules
• Understanding of 132kV / 220kV / 400kV protection schemes, including:
  Line Distance, Line Differential, Transformer Main/Backup, Busbar Protection (Low/High Impedance)
• Experience with stability testing using CMGPS kits
• Familiarity with Process Bus, RTUs, and competitor products
• Strong communication skills, teamwork mindset, and self‑motivation
• Proficiency in English (additional languages welcome)
