Job Summary:
KN International is seeking adedicated and experienced HSE Inspector to join our team. Thisrole will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Health, Safety,and Environmental (HSE) standards on-site, conducting safety inspections, and promoting a strong safety culture among all project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement HSE policies,procedures, and regulatory requirements in line with company and industry standards.
- Monitor HSE performance and recommend corrective actions to improve workplace safety.
- Conduct site inspections, hazard assessments, and risk evaluations , ensuring compliance with approvedsafety measures.
- Collaborate with Safety Manager sand Contractors to implement HSE best practices and addresssafety concerns.
- Review Job Hazard Analysis (JHA),risk assessments, and work method statements for all criticalactivities.
- Conduct toolbox talks, HSEbriefings, and safety training sessions to reinforce safe work practices.
- Oversee and enforce the Permit-to-Worksystem , ensuring proper safety protocols are followed.
- Participate in incident/accident investigations , prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate records of HSEstatistics, safety reports, and compliance documentation .
- Assist in conducting emergency response drills and ensuring preparedness for workplacehazards.
Required Qualifications &
Skills:
- Technical Diploma or equivalent asa minimum requirement.
- Diploma in Health & Safety Management or equivalent certification.
- Recognized HSE certifications suchas NEBOSH, OSHAD, First Aid, Fire Safety , or other
UAE-approved training. - Minimum 5 years of experience in HSEroles within infrastructure and sewerage projects .
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSEregulations, risk management practices, and emergency response procedures .
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to engage effectively with project teams.
- Previous TAQA Water Solutions (SWS/ADSSC) approval is preferred .
