Procurement Engineer

We are seeking an experienced procurement assistant/engineer with a minimum of 3 years of procurement experience in the UAE. The successful candidate will join the Procurement Team and handle the day-to-day procurement operations. Knowledge in offshore compliance, safety, and logistics is a plus.

• Assist the Procurement Supervisor in day-to-day purchasing activities.
• Prepare and process Purchase Requisition s (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), and RFQs in accordance with company policies.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding quotations, delivery schedules, payment terms, and documentation.
• Follow up on order status, deliveries, and lead times to ensure timely receipt of materials/services.
• Verify supplier documents such as delivery notes, invoices, certificates, and packing lists against POs.
• Maintain and update procurement records, supplier databases, and filing systems (soft and hard copies).
• Support supplier evaluation and comparison (price, delivery, compliance).
• Coordinate with Accounts, Warehouse/Yard, and End-Users to resolve discrepancies and issues.
• Assist in monitoring contract compliance and agreed payment terms.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company procedures, audit requirements, and ethical standards.
• Prepare procurement reports, trackers, and status updates as required.
• Support sourcing of new suppliers and request vendor registrations when needed.
• Liaise with suppliers for urgent or critical materials

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years UAE Experience.
• Strong Negotiation Skills.
