We are currently seeking a Sr Commissioning Engineer (Mechanical) to join our team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment on various projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and technicians to ensure that all mechanical systems are installed and functioning correctly.

• Develop commissioning plans and procedures for mechanical systems, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards
• Oversee the installation and testing of mechanical equipment, including pumps, valves, and piping systems
• Conduct functional tests and performance evaluations to ensure equipment is operating as designed
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during commissioning and work with the project team to find solutions
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery and installation of equipment
• Review and approve commissioning documentation, including test reports and equipment manuals
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
• Communicate regularly with project managers and clients to provide updates on commissioning progress and address any concerns or issues

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical commissioning, preferably in the oil and gas or power industry
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment, including pumps, valves, and piping systems
• Experience with commissioning procedures and standards
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
