PMC Engineer; Comm. Electrical
Overview
Wood is recruiting an experienced PMC Engineer (Comm. Electrical) for client ADNOC Onshore in Abu Dhabi. The role is part of our Construction Engineering team within the Oil, Gas & New Energies business. The position will be based onshore in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Responsibilities- Facilitate and formulate Construction Supervision, management, coordination, administration and strict enforcement of the Construction scope included as part of FEED/EPC Contract in line with Client's objective of progressing Work Order completion timely and to project schedule
- Coordinate the FEED/EPC Contractor from construction through commissioning and handing over of FEED/EPC works
- Review and provide input to the overall construction/installation plan, procedures and construction/installation requirements identified in the EPC Packages developed by FEED contractor to ensure efficient constructability
- Ensure the construction/installation plan, procedures and requirement developed by EPC contractor comply with the EPC Scope of Work intent and requirements.
- Coordinate and assist fabrication works at EPC contractor’s or EPC contractor's subcontractor’s fabrication facilities
- Bachelor of Engineering in related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, being in a similar Engineer role for at least 5 years
- PMC experience on EPC Onshore wellhead field development projects is highly preferable
