Job DescriptionDevelop and maintain a comprehensive preventive maintenance program, implement facility inspection protocols to reduce maintenance costs and enhance reliability, achieve contractual KPIs, train teams, and enforce contractual governance.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute a preventive maintenance program.
- Implement facility inspection procedures to minimize costs and improve reliability.
- Plan to achieve contractual KPIs without non‑compliance.
- Train the work group in line with facility operational needs.
- Enforce contractual governance and customer focus.
- Supervise personnel activities and review work orders.
- Plan and conduct routine and preventive maintenance per priority guidelines.
- Provide technical advice and ensure compliance with contract terms.
- Troubleshoot and analyze root causes to prevent recurrence.
- Plan and conduct commissioning activities for new projects.
- Prepare regular work reports (daily, equipment failure, incidents/accidents).
- Ensure subordinates and contractors comply with ISO & QHSE standards.
- Utilize systems to maximize availability and minimize operating & maintenance costs.
- Manage sub‑contractors and ensure they are equipped with proper PPE, tools, and equipment.
- Conduct training and development specific to the facility’s operational needs.
- Implement MWW standards correctly.
- Assist in plant change developments and operational/process improvements.
- Initiate digital transformation and paperless workflows.
- Suggest innovative ideas to reduce time and cost while maintaining quality.
- Assist in preparing and implementing energy conservation plans.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline.
- Preferred: MMUP Certification.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, and facilities management software.
- Strong organizational, supervisory, and leadership skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Knowledge of ISO, OHSAS, and audit requirements.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Facilities Management and operations & maintenance.
- Preferred experience in UAE or Gulf region.
