Job Description: As a Telecom Technician, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and optimizing our telecommunications systems, playing a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication. This position requires a hands‑on professional capable of working independently and as part of a dynamic team. You will install, test, and troubleshoot a variety of telecom equipment and technologies, keeping the latest in telecom technologies in mind.

• Install and configure various telecommunications systems and related equipment efficiently.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on telecom networks to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair faults in telecommunications systems to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement new telecom solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations during installations.
• Provide technical support to end‑users and resolve network‑related issues effectively.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities in detailed technical reports.
• Maintain detailed inventory of telecommunications equipment and tools.
• Train and guide junior technicians in telecom system installations and repairs.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies to enhance telecom systems' capabilities.
• Conduct site surveys to assess telecommunication needs and cable layouts.
• Collaborate with external vendors to procure telecom tools and components.

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent education.
• Proven experience in telecommunications or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of telecom systems, internet networks, and fiber optics.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, if necessary.
