Job Summary
The Lead – Site HSE (Project) is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards at project sites. The role ensures full compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements, with strong focus on offshore oil & gas project execution.
Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and monitor project HSE plans, procedures, and policies
Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations
Lead HSE activities for offshore and onshore project sites
Conduct risk assessments, HAZID/HAZOP, JSA, and toolbox talks
Monitor safe work practices and permit-to-work systems
Carry out site inspections, audits, and safety observations
Investigate incidents, near‑misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare reports
Coordinate emergency response drills and safety training
Liaise with project management, contractors, and clients on HSE matters
Promote safety culture and continuous improvement on site
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline
18+ years of HSE experience in oil & gas projects
Proven experience in offshore projects (platforms, FPSO, offshore construction, or drilling support)
Strong knowledge of international HSE standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
Familiar with offshore safety regulations and permit systems
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Relevant HSE certifications preferred (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)
