Star Services LLC is a leading provider of integrated engineering services to the oil and gas industry in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced 2nd Engineer - HL/PL DP3 to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Chief Engineer in managing the technical operations of the vessel
- Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all machinery and equipment on board
- Monitor and maintain all systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during operations
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
- Train and supervise junior engineers and crew members
- Participate in emergency drills and respond to emergencies as required
- Report to the Chief Engineer and work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a 2nd Engineer on HL/PL DP3 vessels
- Valid STCW certification and DP Maintenance Certificate
- Experience with EPC oil and gas projects in an offshore environment
- Knowledge of relevant safety and environmental regulations
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
