This mission is assigned to Ansaldo Green Tech – a Company focused on the energy transition business, incorporated in 2021 and fully owned by Ansaldo Energia, which has inherited from Ansaldo Energia specific know-how and capabilities.

Define configuration, sizing and technology of MV and LV power electronics systems through electrical calculation, technical interface with suppliers.

Main responsibilities:

• Selection of technology and sizing of high-power power electronics systems (power converters, transformers);
• Preparation of technical specifications and inspection and testing plans;
• Interface with suppliers of power electronics and transformers;
• Follow-up of power electronics and transformers supplies;

• MS in Engineering;
• At least 3 years of work experience in related fields;
• Knowledge of functional aspects of power electronics design and architecture of control;
• General knowledge of Medium Voltage and Low Voltage systems design procedures and regulations;
• Knowledge of design process, procedures, and regulations;
• Knowledge of main project components/packages and their integration;
• Knowledge of “design for manufacturing” and “design for maintenance” best practices;
• Good problem-solving skills, ability to identify and develop new ideas and initiatives, able to turn ideas into practice;
• Autonomy in priority identification in compliance with company objectives;
• Spirit of initiative, passionate for technology and Innovation themes;
• Ability to work in team and establish, engage, and manage relationships with stakeholders to become a trusted subject matter expert/partner.
