A Telecommunications Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing telecommunications systems to ensure reliable and efficient communication services for organizations. They work with various technologies such as fiber optics, wireless systems, and satellite communications to develop plans and layouts for data, voice, and video networks. These engineers evaluate and optimize the performance of telecommunications systems and ensure the integrity, security, and functionality of communication networks.

They collaborate with various teams to install hardware and software, manage operational challenges, and provide technical support when needed, maintaining seamless connectivity and enabling smooth data transmission across networks.

• Design telecommunications systems to enhance data, voice, and video services.
• Implement and configure a wide range of network equipment and software tools.
• Analyze existing telecommunications systems to recommend improvements and upgrades.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot operational issues or outages.
• Collaborate with technical teams to install, maintain, and upgrade systems regularly.

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in telecommunications engineering or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of data, voice, and video communication principles.
• Proficiency in using network design and analysis software and tools.
• Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills for technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical teams.
• Ability to stay updated with emerging telecom technologies and industry trends.
