Senior Planning Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team in the UAE. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar software.
• Coordinate with project teams to gather accurate project data and update schedules accordingly.
• Monitor project progress and prepare reports highlighting variances, risks, and potential delays.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to optimize project timelines and resources.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans related to project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company standards in all planning activities.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior planners and team members.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in project planning within the construction or engineering sectors.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other scheduling tools.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of UAE construction standards and practices is preferred.
• Professional certifications in planning or project management such as PMI-SP or PMP are an advantage.
