Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Engineer – Design Wet Utilities to join our team in AL Ain. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of water supply, wastewater, and stormwater systems for various projects in the region.

  • Develop comprehensive designs for wet utilities systems, including water distribution networks, sewage collection systems, and stormwater management facilities
  • Perform hydraulic calculations and modeling to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency
  • Create detailed technical drawings, specifications, and reports using CAD software
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate wet utilities designs with other project components
  • Ensure compliance with local and international design standards, regulations, and environmental requirements
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and monitor project progress
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and drafters
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project requirements and design solutions
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet deadlines and quality standards
  • Stay updated on industry trends, innovative technologies, and best practices in wet utilities design
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in wet utilities design, with a focus on water supply, wastewater, and stormwater systems
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software for creating detailed technical drawings
  • Experience with hydraulic modeling software for system analysis and optimization
  • Strong knowledge of local and international wet utilities design standards and regulations
  • Understanding of environmental impact assessments related to wet utilities projects
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage schedules, budgets, and resources
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for report writing and data analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex engineering challenges
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members and clients
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
  • Willingness to travel to project sites within the United Arab Emirates as needed
