Technical Support / Application Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Technical Support/Application Engineer to join our team, focusing on low‑voltage (LV) panel systems, control gear, power distribution, and electrical components. The role involves providing technical expertise to sales, consulting with clients, and supporting project requirements across the UAE market.

As a key technical resource, you will prepare technical submittals, BOQs, compliance sheets, and single‑line diagrams, assist in product selection, sizing, and custom configurations, and conduct product presentations, demos, and site visits. Your strong knowledge of ATEX‑certified explosion‑proof products and international standards (IECEx, IEC 60079, IEC 61439) will be essential, especially in the context of electric vehicle charging systems and other EV infrastructure.

• Provide technical support for trading and distribution customers, addressing product queries and troubleshooting issues.
• Prepare and submit technical documentation, including submittals, BOQs, compliance sheets, and single‑line diagrams.
• Assist in product selection, sizing, and custom configurations based on project requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to clarify technical details for consultants, contractors, and end‑users.
• Conduct product presentations, demos, and site visits with clients.
• Ensure adherence to authority approval requirements (e.g., DEWA, ADDC, SASO, SEC).
• Maintain accurate technical knowledge of LV panels, control gear, and power distribution systems.

• 3–5 years of experience in a technical support or application engineering role within a trading or distribution environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of LV panels, control gear, power distribution systems, and electrical components.
• Familiarity with ATEX‑certified explosion‑proof products and international standards such as IECEx, IEC 60079, IEC 61439.
• Experience supporting electric vehicle charging systems (AC/DC), wiring schemes, and load distribution.
• Hands‑on experience with AutoCAD, MS Excel, and basic ERP systems (Odoo is a plus).
• Proficient in reading technical drawings, data sheets, and product manuals.
• Excellent communication, client coordination, and documentation skills.
• Previous experience with Italian or European electrical brands (e.g., SCAME, Legrand, Schneider) is a plus.

Job Type: Full‑time

Pay: AED 5,000.00 – AED 7,000.00 per month
