Commissioning Superintendent Mechanical (U&O) – Piping & Rotary

Location:

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (Onshore Site). The role is a PMC project.

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Superintendent Mechanical with a strong background in EPC projects within the GCC region to lead the commissioning and operational readiness of mechanical systems for piping and rotary equipment.

• Lead the review of commissioning manuals issued by EPC contractors and vendors.
• Verify mechanical completion certificates requirements for various systems and subsystems.
• Participate in commissioning meetings and related coordination meetings.
• Conduct troubleshooting analysis to resolve commissioning obstacles.
• Verify readiness of systems/subsystems for Mechanical Completion (MC) and RFSU certificates issuance.
• Monitor and approve the close‑out of punch lists within the mechanical scope.
• Ensure completion and handover methodology complies with all contractual documents.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or related field) – required.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in commissioning or operational readiness.
• At least 5 years in a similar position within Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
• Experience with sour gas, hydrogen production, or desulfurization projects preferred.
• Proven ability in reviewing mechanical completion certificates and verifying compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
