Assistant Resident Engineer – Electrical (Substation)

• Assist the Resident Engineer in day‑to‑day supervision of electrical works for substations.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor the contractor’s work progress.
• Liaise with all technical disciplines and attend Site Technical Coordination Meetings.
• Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and construction‑related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with approved method statements, layouts, and drawings.
• Witness site activities, inspections, and testing as per project requirements.
• Support the Resident Engineer during final inspections, completion certification, and handover of works.
• Ensure proper implementation of site safety measures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (approved by UAE regulatory authorities).
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in electrical engineering projects in the UAE, including substations.

• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and safety‑conscious mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.

• Prior experience with TRANSCO, ADDC, DEWA or other major UAE utilities will be highly preferred.
