We are seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Advisor - Safety, Health & Environment to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this crucial role you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards while supporting our organization's commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.
Job Description- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety and health programs, systems, and procedures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard identification across various work areas.
- Monitor and prevent potential hazards and occupational diseases in the workplace.
- Investigate accidents, injuries, and complaints related to workplace safety.
- Provide expert advice on environmental, health, and safety matters to management and employees.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate safety practices into daily operations.
- Deliver safety training programs and promote a culture of safety awareness.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports on safety performance and incidents.
- Stay up‑to‑date with industry best practices and emerging trends in safety, health, and environmental management.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety, or a related field.
- Valid HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety, health, and environmental management, preferably in infrastructure projects.
- Experience working in the UAE, with knowledge of local regulations and standards.
- Strong understanding of environmental, health, and safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing effective safety programs.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and hazard identification.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and safety‑management software.
- Willingness to travel to various project sites as needed.
