We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer to support site safety activities and ensure compliance with HSE standards for oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience working in construction or operational environments within the oil & gas industry.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and walkdowns to identify hazards.
- Support implementation of risk assessments, job safety analyses, and PTW systems.
- Participate in toolbox talks and conduct safety awareness sessions for workers.
- Report unsafe conditions and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
- Assist in incident/near-miss reporting and investigations.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and promote safe work practices across the site.
- Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and the HSE team for safe execution of work.
- Maintain HSE documentation, records, and daily reports.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of HSE experience in the oil & gas sector.
- Strong knowledge of site safety practices, PTW systems, and risk assessments.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certifications preferred.
- Good communication and observation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced site environment with multicultural teams.
