As a Senior System Engineer
, you will lead the design, integration, and validation of complex wireless communication systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to define architecture and ensure seamless hardware-software collaboration.
- Define and maintain comprehensive system requirements, technical specifications, and architecture documentation including design specs, interface definitions, and API documentation.
- Lead system architecture development, requirements decomposition, and allocation across hardware and software components.
- Conduct trade studies and make design decisions to optimize system performance and security.
- Perform system integration, testing, and validation of wireless communication devices and embedded systems.
- Collaborate with RF engineers to ensure alignment with RF design principles, antenna systems, and wireless standards (e.g., 802.11, Bluetooth, Zigbee, LoRa, cellular).
- Implement and verify secure communication protocols including cryptographic modules, hardware security modules (HSM), secure boot processes, and Trusted Execution Environments (TEE).
- Apply deep knowledge of wireless communication technologies including WiFi, Bluetooth, LTE, 5G, and tactical waveforms.
- Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Masters or PhD preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as INCOSE are highly desirable.
- 10+ years of experience in system engineering or embedded systems development.
- 5+ years experience with wireless communication technologies (WiFi, Bluetooth, LTE, 5G, Tactical Waveform).
- 3+ years experience in secure communication systems and cryptographic implementations.
- Proven track record in defense, aerospace, medical, automotive, or high-security communication sectors.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems encompassing hardware, software, and RTL design.
- Experience with hardware-software integration and system architecture design.
