Position OverviewWe are seeking a qualified and experienced Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist to join a leading rehabilitation center in Al Ain. The role involves providing comprehensive rehabilitation and medical management to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic illnesses. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced expertise in musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation, physical therapy coordination, and patient-centered recovery planning.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and manage patients with disabilities and functional impairments caused by musculoskeletal, neurological, or other medical conditions.
- Develop individualized rehabilitation and treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
- Supervise and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment programs based on outcomes and recovery goals.
- Perform electrodiagnostic evaluations (EMG, nerve conduction studies) when required.
- Educate patients and families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and home care plans.
- Ensure adherence to DOH regulations, safety standards, and confidentiality protocols.
- Maintain accurate medical records and contribute to clinical quality improvement initiatives.
- Education: MBBS and recognized specialization in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R).
- License: Active DOH license or eligibility for DOH (Abu Dhabi).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in rehabilitation and physical medicine settings.
- Language: Proficiency in English;
Arabic preferred. - Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
