Primary EMT (Emergency Medical Technician)Via Medica International Healthcare LLC is seeking a Primary EMT to serve in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Key Responsibilities- Emergency Response:
- Respond promptly to emergency calls as dispatched
- Arrive at the scene of emergencies quickly and safely
- Conduct scene size-up to determine the nature and extent of illness or injury
- Patient Assessment and Care:
- Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients to determine medical conditions
- Administer basic life support (BLS) procedures including CPR, AED usage, airway management, and bleeding control
- Provide appropriate pre-hospital emergency medical care following DOH protocols
- Transportation:
- Safely transport patients to healthcare facilities
- Communicate with medical staff during transport to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during transit
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Complete accurate and detailed patient care reports (PCRs) and other required documentation
- Report observations and treatments provided to receiving medical staff
- Equipment and Vehicle Maintenance:
- Ensure that the ambulance and equipment are clean, stocked, and in good working order
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance of medical equipment and supplies

- Professional Development:
- Participate in continuing education and training to maintain DOH certification and stay updated on medical practices
- Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions as required by the employer
- Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and protocols, including DOH standards
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow health guidelines
- Follow safety procedures to minimize risk to patients, yourself, and others
- DOH Passer/License – Primary EMT
- Salary based on experience and interview clinical assessment
