We are looking for a Service Now Developer to design, develop, and implement solutions on the Service Now platform to support IT Service Management (ITSM) and other enterprise workflows. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with scripting, integrations, and Service Now modules.
Responsibilities- Develop and customize Service Now applications and modules (e.g., ITSM, CMDB, Incident, Change, Request, Problem).
- Design and implement solutions using Flow Designer, Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and other platform capabilities.
- Integrate Service Now with third‑party tools and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues and bugs in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Maintain proper documentation for developed solutions and platform configurations.
- Stay current on Service Now updates, new features, and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2–5+ years of experience as a Service Now Developer.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide APIs, HTML, CSS, and XML.
- Experience with Service Now modules like ITSM, CMDB, or other scoped applications.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required; additional certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer, ITSM) a plus.
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) is a plus.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Service Now HRSD, CSM, or Sec Ops.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and practices.
- Exposure to Dev Ops and CI/CD pipelines with Service Now.
