We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Data Modeler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess 8+ years of experience in data modeling, with strong proficiency in Power BI and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX). This role requires a keen analytical mind, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for transforming complex data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Modeling:
Design and develop robust data models using Microsoft Power BI and other relevant tools. - DAX Development:
Create and optimize Power Queries, DAX expressions to enhance data models and reports. - Data Integration:
Integrate various data sources, ensuring data consistency and accuracy. - Reporting:
Develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports to support business decision-making. - Collaboration:
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions. - Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, DAX formulas, and reporting processes. - Mentorship:
Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Experience:
8 years of experience in data modeling and analysis. - Proficiency in Data modelling, Power Query, DAX and Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Analytical
Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. - Certifications:
Relevant certifications in Power BI or data analytics are a plus.
