We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Specialist to join our client’s team based in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will manage the entire Power BI lifecycle, from data extraction and analysis to creating insightful and visually compelling dashboards. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, technical expertise in Power BI, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.

Data Extraction:

• Gather, clean, and transform data from various sources such as databases, APIs, and flat files.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the process.

Data Analysis:

• Conduct in-depth analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Use statistical and analytical techniques to support business objectives.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Ensure dashboards are visually appealing, user-friendly, and aligned with business needs.
• Implement DAX queries and measures to create dynamic and advanced visualizations.

Stakeholder

Collaboration:

• Work closely with business teams to understand requirements and provide tailored solutions.
• Present insights and findings effectively to stakeholders using Power BI dashboards.

Maintenance & Optimization:

• Monitor dashboard performance and optimize for scalability and efficiency.
• Regularly update reports and dashboards to reflect changing business needs.

Training & Support:

• Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the utility of Power BI solutions.
• Create documentation and user guides for developed solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Power BI development, including data extraction, analysis, and dashboard creation.
• Proficiency in Power BI tools, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data modeling concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills to present complex data in an understandable format.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik View) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced data analysis.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and their integration with Power BI.
