QAT Manager/Lead (15-20 Years Experience)

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled QAT Manager/Lead with 15-20 years of experience in quality assurance and automated testing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading QA teams and managing large-scale automated testing efforts. The role requires domain expertise in Lending and Trade Finance, with the ability to ensure testing strategies align with business objectives and industry standards.

• Lead and manage a team of QA professionals, including testers and automation engineers, to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Mentor, guide, and develop the QA team by providing technical and strategic direction.
• Oversee the development and execution of testing plans, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Design, implement, and manage automated testing frameworks and processes to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Lead efforts to adopt new testing tools and methodologies, ensuring continuous improvement in automation practices.
• Ensure automation testing is integrated seamlessly into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Define and implement QA strategies, including test plans, test cases, and testing schedules, with a focus on both functional and automated testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and business stakeholders, to understand testing requirements.
• Ensure QA processes comply with industry standards and best practices, particularly in the Lending and Trade Finance domains.
• Leverage expertise in Lending and Trade Finance to understand business processes, identify critical areas for testing, and ensure domain-specific test scenarios are executed.
• Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on domain knowledge and testing outcomes.
• Monitor and analyze test results, ensuring defects are logged, tracked, and resolved efficiently.
• Produce detailed reports on testing progress, quality metrics, and overall product health to stakeholders.
• Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes, tools, and team performance to ensure optimal effectiveness.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all QA activities, ensuring transparent communication between QA, development teams, and business stakeholders.
• Coordinate with senior management to provide updates on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 15–20 years of experience in QA and testing, with a significant portion in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in managing automated testing initiatives, including the use of tools such as Selenium, UFT, TestNG, or similar.
• Expertise in the Lending and Trade Finance domains, with a strong understanding of business processes and systems.
• In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and agile testing practices.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and manage teams effectively.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices.
• Certification in QA or testing methodologies (e.g., ISTQB).
• Experience working with cloud-based testing solutions.
