Technical Support Officer

To support the project team with the delivery of change into the operation, specifically by managing project documentation, maintaining risk registers, monitoring trackers, capturing minutes of meetings, preparing presentations and providing technical input to projects

• Prepare project related documents as directed by Project Manager to support project activities
• Arrange technical meetings for the Project Manager to facilitate project interactions
• Participate in technical project meetings to ensure discussions are comprehensively captured
• Prepare and disseminate minutes of the meetings to all relevant parties to ensure they are kept up to date with the action points and project progress
• Maintain project tracker to identify achievement of deliverables and milestones and ensure any shortfalls are highlighted in a timely manner
• Collect and collate information to support the Project Manager in preparing RFP documents
• Establish and maintain a robust document control process to ensure all versions of the project related documentation are stored in an easily retrievable manner
• Perform other duties delegated by the line manager from time to time to support departmental activities
• Safety responsibilities and accountabilities of this position are detailed in the Safety Management Manual of the organization. The Job holder is required to maintain awareness and knowledge in relation to their safety responsibilities associated with their job function

• Higher diploma or equivalent preferred

• Project management qualification such as AMP, PMP etc. preferred

• 2 years’ experience of working in a project delivery environment
• Experience of developing project documents preferred

• English language proficiency required. Working knowledge of Arabic preferred
• Knowledge of project management processes preferred
