Network Architect (designing and implementing both cloud and network security)
We have an urgent requirement for a Network Architect with expertise in designing and implementing both cloud and on‑premises network security architectures for our client based at Abu Dhabi.
Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Network/Security Architect with deep technical knowledge and hands‑on implementation experience, capable of translating business requirements into world‑class network and security designs. The ideal candidate will lead the design of secure, scalable, and resilient network environments in a green‑field setup.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement end‑to‑end network and security architectures for cloud and on‑prem environments.
- Lead architecture for core routing & switching, SD‑WAN, segmentation, and hybrid connectivity.
- Build secure cloud network topologies across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Implement and optimize security controls, including IAM, Zero Trust, and cloud‑native security.
- Architect secure perimeters using firewalls, VPN, IPS/IDS, WAF, proxies, load balancers, and NAC solutions.
- Ensure compliance, monitoring, visibility, and resilience across network and security layers.
- Drive automation and infrastructure‑as‑code solutions using Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.
- Convert business, operational, and security requirements into detailed architecture documents and design blueprints.
- 5–8 years of core network/security design and implementation experience.
- 10+ years overall in networking and security domains.
- Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud networking, Zero‑Trust, segmentation, and cloud security architecture.
- Hands‑on experience with enterprise firewalls, load balancers, VPN, IPS/IDS, and NAC solutions.
- Expertise with multi‑cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) networking and security features.
- Automation experience using Python, Ansible, Terraform, etc.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
