You'll be working closely with a small, cross-functional team of product experts and engineers. You'll have the opportunity to:

What you'll do
- Develop and own scalable, reproducible, reliable, and secure infrastructure in an IaC fashion for big data processing, storage, and analysis.
- Design cMatter’s multi-account AWS strategies i.e. AWS accounts across multiple environments. AWS EKS, ECS, RDS, MSK etc.
- Demonstrate leadership mindset in taking initiatives, making decisions and enforcing best practices that everyone benefits from.
- CI/CD and Git Ops leadership: for example, CI/CD pipelines for applications/infrastructure and implementing Git Ops workflows (e.g. branching and merging strategies)
- Proactive security: by embedding code security scanning early in the CICD pipeline and docker images scanning.
- Closely collaborate with development teams to optimize deployments, data pipelines, security, and enforce best practices from the infrastructure/Dev Ops perspective.
- Introduce and support proper monitoring solutions to ensure high availability and proactive incidents management.
- Incorporate security, cost management and sustainability in every architecture/design discussion.
What you'll need
Must have:
- 5+ years of production grade Dev Ops responsibilities, i.e. designing, deploying and maintaining high-availability, scalable and secure infrastructure in production.
- Proven experience in CI/CD frameworks, for example Git Lab CI or Git Hub actions
- Strong knowledge of secret management (Hashi Corp Vault, AWS secret manager)
- Strong proficiency with AWS (Managed AWS services, Networking)
- Very good knowledge in Networking and DNS management.
- Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for infrastructure automation.
- Expertise in IaC (Terraform)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and driving cross-team initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Fluency in English, verbal and written
Nice to have:
- Certifications in AWS/Dev Ops.
- Experience with real-time data pipelines (For example, Kafka)
- Experience with MLOps
- Experience in Java / Python / C++ experience
- Experience in Embedded / IoT exposure
